El Niño - Effect on Big Country

Last time El Niño sprung up, the Big Country went through some of it's worst droughts ever. This time, however, it will be a welcome blessing.
Over the past 9 winter El Niño events, we have been wetter and colder.

That will most likely be the case this winter. Expect moderately colder temperatures from February till May.
In the precipitation department, substantially more precip from October to April expected.

Put the two forecasts together, and you get snow this winter!
